In addition to preparing for the GED, the program features career pathways that include manufacturing, healthcare, and information technology fields that are in demand in our area. Students learn about the skills needed, the education and training available and prepare to transition into ICC programs.
Adult Education students, age 16+ can enjoy the benefits of being an ICC student!
Our GED preparation classes cover all subject areas found on the GED test and are FREE. This made possible by a grant from the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) and offered through ICC’s Adult Education Program. Class enrollment is first come; first serve and at the beginning and midterm of each semester. Interested students must participate in a reading test.
