Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official organization through which students make recommendations regarding student concerns to the administration.
SGA members participate in college events. Conduct polls to gather the opinions and attitudes of students. Provide student representation on college committees and assist with charitable and civic activities. Learn more about SGA in the Student Handbook.
Become an SGA representative. Representatives are elected for one-year terms by the entire student body. Elections are held during the fall and spring semesters.

The Student Government Association has open seats- and we need YOU! Positions include Student Body President (2025–26), External Vice President (Marketing & social media), and At-Large Student Senator (5 seats)
Campaigning runs November 3–7, and elections take place November 10–11.

Constitution Day and Citizenship Day are observed annually on September 17 and commemorate the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787, and recognize all who, by coming of age or by naturalization, have become citizens.
Each educational institution that receives Federal funds is required to hold an educational program on the United States Constitution annually on September 17 for the students it serves. For more information, please contact the Student Government Association.
